Three of the biggest names in progressive house are officially joining forces.
DubVision, Third Party and Matisse & Sadko have announced the formation of their new supergroup, HALŌ, revealing the project Tuesday in an Instagram post that immediately set the electronic dance music world abuzz.
Each act has long been known for crafting euphoric, melodic anthems built for the mainstage, and their union feels like a long-overdue convergence of creative forces. All three are frequent, longtime collaborators of Martin Garrix and his STMPD label, shaping the emotional, festival-ready sound that defined an era of EDM.
While details about HALŌ’s next steps remain under wraps, the implications are clear: progressive house is entering a renaissance. Once the heartbeat of global festival stages in the 2010s, the genre has weathered shifting trends toward tech house and techno in recent years, but it has never truly faded. Artists like Audien have championed the genre’s revival with projects such as “Progressive House Never Died,” and now HALŌ looks poised to amplify that resurgence.
Whether the trio’s debut comes in the form of new releases, live performances or both, their arrival reaffirms that progressive house still burns bright at the core of dance music culture. In the meantime, they are set to make their live DJ debut March 7th, 2026 at Amsterdam’s Ziggo Dome for Don’t Let Daddy Know.
