Preparedness can save lives at raves, and an innovative new keychain from nCase Tech aims to make overdose response more seamless than ever.
The company’s new product, the Nalox-1, is a discreet keychain-style case specifically designed to carry naloxone, a life-saving nasal spray that reverses opioid overdoses.
nCase Tech was founded by Danielle Wilder and Matthew Bitner-Glindzicz, an engaged couple in St. Louis whose mission was born after the former lost a high school friend to an opioid overdose. She and Bitner-Glindzicz then met as undergrads at Washington University in St. Louis, where a late-night dorm fire drill sparked their first conversation.

With harm reduction at its bedrock, the company embodies the same ethos that fuels the EDM community itself: compassion and care for one another. Their goal is to make carrying Narcan as instinctive as carrying your keys, because every second counts.
Featuring a compact, weatherproof and shock-absorbent build, the case is built for real-world use, with a QR code linking directly to quick-use instructions. The keychain clips easily to your keys or bag and discreetly encapsulates naloxone, ensuring you’re always ready to act in case of an emergency opioid overdose.

The incident served as a sobering reminder of how vital harm reduction tools have become in festival culture.
The Nalox-1 retails for $10.95. You can learn more and purchase the product here.
